The California Highway Patrol reported a single-vehicle crash on Monday.
The accident occurred just south of County Road 17 and was discovered at about 11.10 a.m.
According to the officials, a 2003 Monaco RV was heading north on Interstate 5 when it made an unsafe turn and crashed into the County Road 17 overpass.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed pending notification of the family.
The officials have reported that there were no other people present in the RV.
The cause of the fatal accident is still being investigated by the authorities, however, it has been confirmed that alcohol and drugs did not play a role in the crash.
There is no other information available at the moment.
