The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash on Saturday night in Chandler. The accident happened on Loop 202 interchange and interstate 10 at around 8:20 p.m.
The collision involved a car hauler, a tractor-trailer, and a motorcycle. The events leading up to the crash have not been disclosed.
The motorcyclist passed away at the scene. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public yet.
According to DPS, no other injuries were noted. As police work to clear the scene and investigate this crash, the I-10 is closed at Ray Road.
No anticipated time for reopening has been given.
The fatal collision is being investigated by the officials.
