1 Person Died In A Hit-And-Run Vehicle Crash In Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

The Police Department reported a hit-and-run crash in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the pedestrian was not in a designated crosswalk when they were crossing the highway south of Russell Road at around 6:30 p.m.

Police were informed by witnesses that the man was struck by a silver or light gray vehicle, possibly a mid-size SUV, as it was traveling northbound on Boulder Highway.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

The name and identity of the victim were not released by the officials.

The female driver fled the scene.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the police.
