1 person died following a bicycle crash in Mountain View (Mountain View, CA)

A 13-year-old bicyclist was killed following a two-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Mountain View.

As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place at the intersection of El Camino Real and Grant Road. The preliminary reports showed that a bicycle and a truck were involved in the collision.

On arrival, first responders rushed the cyclist to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Speeding, drugs, or alcohol did not contribute to the accident. The identity of the deceased will be released one the next of kin is notified. No further details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
