Official spokespersons for Nevada report that a stretch of the I-80 West near Lovelock has been closed owing to a fatal accident that took place on Tuesday. Nevada State Police responders also added that the accident took place a little after 2 PM. The incident is reported to have occurred near mile marker 106.
The police officials have declined to comment on the identity of the victim, and the cause of the accident. There is no immediately available information regarding when the roadway will reopen to flowing traffic. Officials added that the investigation is ongoing and will be.
