One person was killed following a traffic collision Monday afternoon in the central part of town.
As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place at the intersection of Polaris and Tropicana avenues at about noon. The early reports showed that a box truck and a van were involved in the collision. Authorities confirmed that one person died as a result of the wreck.
