On Tuesday night, one person died while another suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident in East Bexar County.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at about at 9:45 p.m. at Loop 1604 and FM 1346, near St. Hedwig. The preliminary investigation indicated that a red truck and a black Sedan crashed head-on into each other for reasons that are yet to be known.
The driver of the car suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the truck was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center with serious bodily injuries. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No further details were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
