Official reports confirm at least one fatality in a multi-vehicle accident north of Elm Mott in Texas. The Texas Department of Public Safety has stated that the incident took place on Monday morning on Interstate 35 which is close to Ross Road.
No further information concerning the identity of the victim, nor the cause of the accident was made available to the public.
Elm Mott Volunteer Fire & Rescue added on social media early Monday morning that travelers would be best advised to avoid southbound I-35 at Mile Marker #47. DPS authorities, the Texas Department of Transportation and other units were on the scene.
