One person was killed following a multi-vehicle wreck Thursday night on I-240.
As per the initial information, the fatal three-vehicle pile-up took place at about 9:30 p.m. on Interstate 240 and South Parkway. One victim suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. As of now, officers have not provided any information about the other victims.
The events that have led up to the deadly accident remain unknown at this time. No other details have been released by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
