One person was killed after a traffic accident Saturday night in Tolleson.
As per the initial information, the fatal pedestrian crash took place along eastbound I-10 near 91st Avenue. It is unknown if the pedestrian died at the scene or at an area hospital. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time.
Traffic was rerouted to Loop 101 to give way to the investigation, and the freeway reopened several hours later. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
