1 person dead after a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 5 (Arlington, WA)

On Tuesday, one person was killed following a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 5.

As per the initial information, the fatal three-vehicle pile-up happened a little after 5 p.m. south of State Road 530. The early reports showed that the driver was going erratically which resulted in the collision.

Officials confirmed that one person died as a result of the crash. On arrival, paramedics transported the suspect to Providence Hospital with unspecified injuries. The suspect was later arrested by the officers. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.

The incident remains under investigation.
