On late Saturday morning, one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision on Main Street.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place at about 11:24 a.m. on Main Street and Bonita School Road. The preliminary investigation showed that a Black Nissan crashed into a ditch for undetermined reasons.
As the driver came out of the Nissan, a black Honda struck him. The driver of the Honda left the scene after the collision. As officials arrived at approximately 11:27 a.m., they declared the Nissan driver dead. No other details are immediately available.
The incident remains under active review.
