Georgia State Patrol reported a pursuit that resulted in a multi-vehicle crash.
Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle on Chatham Parkway and Veterans Parkway. The suspect fled and drove into oncoming traffic. The suspect traveled north on GA-25 and approached I-516, and their vehicle proceeded to crash into two other cars.
The suspect sustained fatal injuries from the crash. The other vehicle’s occupants sustained minor injuries.
The suspect and the other vehicle driver were taken to the hospital.
Additional details relating to the crash were not provided by the Georgia State Police. An investigation into the crash is under review.
