According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a brutal multi-vehicle wreck occurred on Tuesday morning.
The officials stated that the incident involved a tractor-trailer and two other vehicles on I-24 westbound, leaving Murfreesboro.
The incident happened at around midnight.
According to the officials, a heavily damaged FedX truck blocked all three lanes between Almaville Road and I-840.
The THP officials have confirmed the death of one individual. Two victims were injured in the fatal crash.
The identities of the victims involved in the crash were not released by the THP.
No additional information regarding the cause of the crash was provided.
