1 Person Dead, 2 Injured In A Rollover Crash In Quay County (Quay County, N. M)

The New Mexico State Police are investigating a deadly rollover crash that killed a person and injured two in Quay County. 

The crash happened on I-40 eastbound, east of San Jon, at around 12:15 p.m. 

According to the officials, a Nissan traveling eastbound on I-40 with six people lost control for unknown reasons. The vehicle rolled over, ejecting two of the five passengers. 

The victim who died in the crash was identified as 18-year-old Kejuan Green.

Two other passengers were flown to the hospital for medical treatment. 

The proper use of seatbelt was not utilized, according to the officials. 

The crash is being investigated by the New Mexico State Police.
