In a tragic multi-vehicle accident in the Antelope area, one person was killed and two others sustained major injuries. This was due to a collision that led to one vehicle striking a pole, officials reported Wednesday night.
The fatal collision transpired at approximately 9 p.m. at the intersection of Antelope Road and Don Julio Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol’s North Sacramento division, one vehicle executed an unsafe lane change.
This resulted in the collision with the second vehicle, which subsequently collided with a pole. Regrettably, three minors were in the vehicle that struck the pole.
Tragically, one minor succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the other two have been transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The identity of the deceased victim has not been confirmed at this time.
