The Memphis Police officers reported a three-vehicle crash on Sam Cooper Boulevard on Thursday.
At around 11 a.m. the crash occurred at Sam Cooper Boulevard and High Point Terrace east of Highland.
The officials stated that one person was declared dead at the scene.
The officials confirmed that one of the victims was rushed to Regional One in critical condition.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the Memphis Police Department.
The identities of the victims involved in the crash were not determined by the MPD.
The officials did not disclose additional information regarding the cause of the crash.
