According to the Harrison County Police, a multi-vehicle crash occurred in Harrison County on Monday.
The officials stated that the crash occurred on I-20 in the westbound lane.
According to the County Sheriff’s Office, a car crashed into another vehicle that was towing a loaded car hauler.
The injured person was rushed to the hospital by helicopter.
The identity of the victim was not disclosed by the deputies.
Some portions of the I-20 were blocked for further investigation.
The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
