The Sacramento Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident in South Sacramento on Thursday.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, a woman was restrained after crashing a pickup truck into the side of a home in South Sacramento.
The suspect was fleeing from the police. She was searched by the police. She was accused of multiple felony warrants.
The incident occurred at around 6 p.m. when the woman was fleeing from the police. Following the chase, the vehicle collided with the side of a residence on 8100 Block of Valley Hi Drive, a neighbourhood of Sacramento.
The Sacramento Fire Department stated that an adult man was critically injured in the crash. According to the officials, the victim was rushed to the nearby hospital.
The identity of the victim and the suspect are awaited.
According to the officials, the suspect has been detained for further investigation.
