The Puget Sound Fire Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Kent on Saturday.
The collision involved four vehicles.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Central Avenue South and South 266th Street. It happened just before 11 a.m.
One person was declared dead by the officials. Two more people were taken to a hospital to receive medical attention for their injuries. The names and identities of the victims were not yet known.
The officials have not released any details regarding the other vehicles involved in the accident.
It is unsure what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. The fatal crash is being investigated by the police.
