1 Pedestrian Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Tyler (Tyler, TX)

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Tyler on Saturday. 

The crash happened in the 14,000 block of Highway 31 east of Loop 323 at around 5:50 a.m. 

According to the Police, the pedestrian was struck by two vehicles following the collision. 

The pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to the DPS Sgt. Adam Albritton, the identity of the deceased victim was not revealed. 

The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash. 

No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
