Officials state that a multi-vehicle crash took place in Smith County on Friday afternoon involving a car and a motorcyclist.
The Texas Department of Safety reported that the crash took place at the intersection of State Highway 155 South and County Road 196, where both a car and a motorcycle were involved.
The motorcyclist, following the incident, was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead.
