A report from the White Settlement Police state that a 15-year-old girl is dead after a pickup truck crashed into her home Sunday evening, White Settlement Police say. The fatal incident took place at the 9300 block of Jason Court.
First responders found the victim beneath the vehicle when they arrived, White Settlement added. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for intoxication manslaughter and assault.
Preliminary investigations reveal that speed was involved in the collision and that the driver showed certain signs of impairment. The victim’s father was transported to the hospital with critical head injuries. The victim’s mother escaped with no life-threatening injuries.
No other details were made available by the White Settlement PD.
