The San Antonio Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Saturday. The accident occurred near Loop 410 and Old Pearsall Road just before 10 p.m.
According to the officials, a vehicle was trying to get to the access road. This brought it into the path of an SUV that was driving on the highway. This caused it to get t-boned by the SUV.
A passenger in the first vehicle was critically injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is not yet known at the time. Both of the occupants of the SUV were taken to a local hospital with injuries but are now in stable condition.
The cause of the fatal accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
