1 Man Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Orange County (Orange County, CA)

In Orange, a driver suspected of DUI was arrested after a brief pursuit following a deadly hit-and-run crash on Tuesday. The collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 300 block of North Tustin Street, where a man crossing the street outside a crosswalk was struck and killed.

The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, died at the scene of the crash. Shortly after the incident, police located a Scion sedan with significant front-end damage nearby. The driver, a 31-year-old individual, led police on a brief pursuit that ended about a mile away from the crash site.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, felony hit and run, evading, and vehicular homicide. It was revealed that the suspect had four prior DUI convictions within the last 10 years.
