According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Harris County on Sunday. The crash happened near beltway 8 at around 11 p.m.
According to the investigators, a motorcycle and an unknown man were involved in the collision. The driver of the motorcycle traveling southbound struck a man who was walking in the middle lane.
The officials stated that the unknown victim suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Harris County Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
