According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Laredo. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the multi-vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Bob Bullock Loop by Havana Drive. A street sweeper and a black passenger car collided initially. A man driving a white car lost control of his vehicle, as he focused on avoiding a collision with the other vehicles.
As a result, the man was thrown out of the vehicle after it rolled over. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The female driver of the black car was admitted to Doctors Hospital sustaining injuries. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The driver of the street sweeper did not get injured due to the accident. The crash continues to be investigated by the TDPS.
