The Moses Lake Police reported a motor vehicle accident on Thursday.
The officials reported that the a man was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Kittelson Road near Highway 17.
Officials reported that the suspect fled the scene in his vehicle westbound on Interstate 90.
Moses Lake Police Captain Dave Sands stated that the suspect vehicle had rolled and caught fire on Dodson Road Interstate 90 off-ramp.
Officials stated that the suspect suffered minor injuries.
The Washington State Patrol has arrested the suspect for driving under the influence and also for the hit-and-run charges.
The identity of the suspect was not released by the WSP.
