The Phoenix Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Friday early morning. The accident happened at the 51st Avenue area and Lower Buckeye at around 5 a.m.

According to the officials, a man and a vehicle were involved in the collision. They reported that a man was struck by a car at around 5 a.m.

Phoenix fire personnel declared the man dead at the scene. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public yet.

The car’s female driver remained on the scene and is helping the police with their investigation.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
