According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on Sunday morning.
According to the police, an Indiana resident was rear-ended by the driver of a black Audi A4. The driver is a resident of Plainwell.
The victim was pronounced at the scene by the officials.
The incident happened near mile marker 46 north of D Avenue. The Audi driver fled the scene but was later apprehended by the Police.
According to the officials, multiple agencies reported to the scene.
The police are suspecting that alcohol is the main factor involved in the crash.
The victim has not yet been identified by the police.
