On Sunday morning, a 30-year-old man was hurt after his car went into a canal in west Phoenix.
Officials quickly responded to the scene after getting news of a car that plunged into a canal near 91st Avenue and McDowell Road. On arrival, responders located a vehicle in a canal that was submerged in about five feet of water.
According to the authorities, the driver managed to come out the vehicle and firefighters helped him climb out of the canal. As per the reports, the man was in stable condition and was assessed by officers on the scene.
The cause of the accident remains under active review.
