1 Driver Injured In A Motor Vehicle Crash On Chandelle Loop Northeast (Albuquerque, N. M)

Albuquerque Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash that injured a driver. 

According to the police, a driver crashed into a townhouse on Chandelle Loop northeast, just off Rover and Tramway. It is not clear what caused the crash. 

Neighbors claimed the driver was speeding and unsure if the driver had been drinking. 

The driver was injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver had medical issues before accelerating and running a red light, said the driver’s friend. 

No other injuries were reported from the crash. Damage was reported to two homes in the Foothills, but the extent of the damage is unknown. 

An investigation into the crash is underway.
