Austin-Travis County EMS responded to a motor vehicle crash on the upper deck of Interstate 35 near downtown Austin Overnight.
The crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian at 2100 N I-35 Upper Deck Southbound at around 12:59 a.m. Saturday.
One person died at the scene, and two others were injured following the pedestrian crash.
According to EMS, two injured people were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center.
It was reported that the injuries were not life-threatening.
The upper deck was shut down following the investigation. Traffic was shifted to the lower deck. It has reopened.
No additional information regarding the crash is currently available.
