On Sunday, a teenager was killed and a 13-year-old suffered injuries following a rollover accident at sand dunes in northern Michigan.
As per the initial information, the fatal accident took place at Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Oceana County. The preliminary investigation revealed that the teens were riding ATVs at a high speed when the vehicles rolled at a steep spot.
The two victims were cousins from Illinois. According to the officials, the dunes, 75 miles north of Grand Rapids, are a famous place for ATVs, Jeeps and other off-road vehicles. No other details are immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
