On Sunday morning, one person died and another suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle pile-up on the Katy Freeway.
The fatal incident took place in the westbound lanes near Barker Cypress Road at about 2:30 a.m. in which three vehicles were involved. Reports revealed that a medical helicopter landed on the freeway to airlift the patient to the hospital.
As of now, crews are on the scene to clear the wreckage from the freeway. The events that have led up to the wreck remain undisclosed at this time. The identities of the victims have not been revealed as of this moment.
The authorities will continue to investigate the deadly collision.
