On Wednesday afternoon, one person lost their life following a motorcycle crash on Casitas Pass Road.
The fatal two-vehicle accident took place at around 2:40 p.m. on Casitas Pass Road in which a motorcycle and a semi-truck were involved. Reports revealed that the motorcycle and semi-truck crashed into each other for still unknown reasons. The motorcyclist died as a result of the collision.
The traffic on the winding rural highway was impacted as crews worked to clear the crash scene. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. It is unknown if anyone in the semi-truck received any injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
