1 Dead, 1 Injured In A Fatal Crash In Albuquerque (Albuquerque, N. M)

The Albuquerque Police Department responded to a fatal crash at Coors Boulevard NW and St. Josephs NW. 

According to the officials, a white car heading south on Coors near St. Josephs collided with a blue car trying to make a westbound turn. After the collision, the blue car was pushed into a traffic pole. 

The blue car driver was declared dead at the scene by the Albuquerque Fire Rescue. 

The white car occupants fled the scene on foot, but one passenger was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Speed and alcohol are suspected factors in the crash. 

The crash is being investigated.
