Two people were hurt after a multi-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Northwest Austin.
As per the initial information, the six-vehicle pile-up took place at the intersection of North FM 620 Road and Bullick Hollow Road at about 5 p.m. EMS later said a section of Bullick Hollow Road would remain blocked. EMS reported a call was revived with reports of a dump truck being hit by a vehicle while sand was being put down in the road. The area was reported to be “very icy.”
A total of six vehicles were involved in the wreck with two patients. Both of the patients involved refused treatment by EMS. There were no reports of anyone being pinned inside the vehicle. The vehicle rescue response was later canceled by EMS. The public was asked to avoid the affected area. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
