Semi crash closes lane of New Circle Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A lane of New Circle Road is closed after a semi truck crash in Lexington. The Lexington Police Department says they were called to W New Circle Road past Georgetown for the crash early Monday morning. When they arrived, they found the truck had struck a barrier on a construction site on the road. No one was hurt. The right lane of the outer loop is closed while crews tow the truck and respond to the scene. The roadway reopened around 5:45 a.m. Copyright 2025 WKYT. All rights reserved.
