A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on I-29 Southbound just south of Mound City, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on July 11, 2026, at approximately 7:14 p.m. near mile marker 79, about five miles south of Mound City, the Patrol's online crash report states. The area falls under the jurisdiction of Troop H.

According to the Patrol, a 2013 Harley Davidson Street Glide was traveling southbound on I-29 when the crash occurred. No other vehicles were involved, per the crash report.

The motorcycle's operator, a 53-year-old man from Bellevue, Nebraska, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation into the crash.
