A California truck driver suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning on US 159 near Mound City, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.
The crash was reported at 9:15 a.m. on eastbound US 159 at East Olive Drive, roughly seven miles southeast of Mound City, per the patrol's report. A 2025 Kenworth T680 tractor-trailer traveling eastbound was involved, the report states.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Modesto, California, sustained minor injuries in the crash, according to the patrol. He was transported to a medical facility for treatment, the report says.
