A commercial truck driver suffered moderate injuries early Thursday when his vehicle crashed on southbound I-29 near Oregon, Missouri, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The Patrol, investigating under incident number 260331098, reported that the crash occurred around 3:50 a.m. at the 72.6 mile marker, about five miles east of Oregon in Holt County.
According to the Patrol's online crash report, a 2024 Freightliner commercial vehicle was traveling southbound when the single-vehicle crash occurred. The driver, a 45-year-old man from Glendale, Arizona, sustained moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said.
Light rain was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
No other vehicles or occupants were reported involved in the crash. Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H is handling the investigation.
