Two men were hurt after a Freightliner truck crashed on southbound Interstate 29 near Mound City, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.
The crash happened at 1:43 a.m. on September 17, 2026, at Mile Marker 80.6, about three miles south of Mound City in Holt County, the Patrol reported.
According to the report, the 2025 Freightliner was traveling southbound when the single-vehicle crash occurred. The driver, a 59-year-old man, sustained minor injuries, as did a 76-year-old occupant, the Patrol said. Both were transported for medical treatment following the crash.
No other vehicles were reported involved in the incident, and no fatalities resulted, per the crash report.
