A 27-year-old man from Twinburg, Ohio, suffered serious injuries early Monday in a single-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 29 near Corning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 5:48 a.m. on July 6 at mile marker 99, about four miles east of Corning, the Patrol's online crash report states. The driver was traveling northbound in a 2016 Ford Fusion when the vehicle was involved in the crash, according to the preliminary report.

The driver was transported for medical treatment following the incident, the Patrol reported. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
