According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Monday morning on Highway 70. 

The officials stated that atleast two people were hospitalized following a crash into the Feather River Canyon off Highway 70. 

A logging truck was called to extract logs blocking the roadway. The truck collided for unknown reasons and caused the incident. 

The two occupants were rushed to the local hospital to be treated for their injuries by the responding medical personnel. 

The CHP has not released any information regarding the condition of the victims.

The crash is under investigation at the moment.
