On Thursday, a vehicle plowed into an oak tree just outside of the Channel 2 News Station on Highland Road.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place just before midnight on Channel 2’s property. The preliminary investigation revealed that a car crashed into an oak tree on Channel 2’s property for reasons that are yet to be known.
Baton Rouge Police, Baton Rouge Fire Department, and EMS were all requested at the scene. It is unknown if the driver of the vehicle suffered any injuries as a result of the collision. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
