A two-vehicle crash killed 1 person and injured another in Clayton County (Riverdale, GA)

On Thursday, 1 person was killed and another received critical injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Clayton County.

Authorities confirmed that one person died after a traffic collision that happened just after 9 a.m. Sept. 16 near Riverdale and Flat Shoals roads in Clayton County. The preliminary reports revealed that the driver was heading north on Riverdale when they encountered traffic and locked the breaks which sent the vehicle spinning into the southbound traffic.

Just then, the first vehicle was t-boned by another vehicle. On arrival, first responders rushed both drivers to a local hospital. The driver who lost control was later pronounced dead whereas the other driver is listed in critical condition. The identities of the victims remain undisclosed at this time.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
