On Saturday afternoon, a two-vehicle accident on State Route 18 near Willow Wells Avenue caused injuries to 3 people.
The incident happened on July 3 at about 2:42 p.m. on State Route 18 near Willow Wells Avenue. As per the California Highway Patrol incident logs, a motorhome and a red 4-door Toyota Sedan were involved in the crash.
The T-bone crash between the two vehicles closed down the eastbound lanes of the highway. The sedan had major side damages while the RV sustained significant front-end damages following the accident. As of now, the circumstances that have resulted in the crash remain unknown.
The extent of the collision pinned three people, including an infant in one of the vehicles. San Bernardino County Firefighters immediately responded to the scene and removed all the trapped patients and medics rushed all of them to St. Mary’s Medical Center through ground ambulance for treatments. There is no word regarding their conditions. Authorities cleared the scene at around 3:00 p.m.
The CHP is still looking into the crash.
