On early Sunday morning, a rollover accident took the life of one person on I-17, close to 7th Street in Phoenix.
As per the initial information, the deadly crash took place at 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 26. The authorities confirmed that one person, whose identity is yet to be revealed, died as a result of the collision. At this time, it is unknown how many vehicles were involved in the wreck.
The circumstances surrounding the crash also remain unclear. The southbound lanes were blocked in the area with all traffic exiting at 7th Street, but the interstate has since opened again to traffic.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
