On Friday night, a male pedestrian lost his life after getting struck by a vehicle in Columbus.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian accident took place in front of the Captain D’s on Manchester Expressway, close to Gilbert Avenue. The early reports revealed that a pickup truck hit a man who succumbed to his injuries at the scene. As of now, all lanes on Veterans Parkway are shut down.
Authorities have advised drivers to find alternate routes. Columbus police motor squad and crime scene investigators are currently on the crash scene. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.
